鯨豚，是海洋中神秘的嬌客，牠的出現總讓人們驚呼連連。全世界的鯨豚約有80多種，台灣面積雖小，但有豐碩的漁業資源，在台灣海域發現的鯨豚約有30種，超過全世界的三分之一。可惜的是，珍貴的鯨豚卻因海洋生態的破壞與人類的濫捕而逐漸消失，鯨豚的保育問題，已成為國際保育關注的對象。
陽明高雄海洋探索館特別於2013推出「鯨豚狂想曲」特展，本次展覽以認識鯨豚生態與海洋保育及海洋人文為主軸，透過展場精彩圖文介紹、難得一見的鯨豚標本、鯨豚模型及趣味遊戲等活潑互動的方式，讓來館參觀的民眾能輕鬆的從「寓教於樂」中認識鯨豚，進而愛護鯨豚。希望藉由鯨豚特展提醒國人保護我們的海洋，進而保護我們未來的生存環境，珍惜地球資源。
Cetaceans are mysterious marine animals, and their appearance always surprise human. There are about 80 kinds of cetaceans, and about 30 are found surrounding Taiwan. Unfortunately, the amount of precious cetaceans has decreased due to pollutions and overfishing, and it has become an international conservation issue.
Yang Ming Museum of Marine Exploration Kaohsiung in 2013 launched “Cetaceans Rhapsody Special Exhibition” with the theme of cetacean ecology, marine conservation, and marine humanity for the public to understand cetaceans and protect them. There are interesting information, rare cetacean specimens and models, and fun games for the public to explore. We wish to raise the awareness of marine protection and to cherish the Earth.
